BIRDS OF PREY CENTRE

See birds of prey in action.
One of the most interesting things to do in Warrington is visit Wild Wings. Wild Wings rescues, rehabilitates, and releases wild birds of prey whenever they can. They have over 150 birds at any one time that you can go and visit, from the smallest hawks to the largest owl species in the world, the European Eagle Owl.
GRAPPNEHALL HEYS WALLED GARDEN

Take a stroll around the gardens.
The gardens have remained virtually unchanged since they were first constructed in the early 1800s as a testament to the most significant period of the gardens’ design and productivity, just a few decades after its construction. You can take a tour around the fully functioning kitchen gardens, as well as the beautiful ornamental gardens.
LYMM DAM
13 minute drive
Walk along the waterside.
Lymm Dam was first created so the A56 could pass around the village of Lymm, instead of through. Now, it’s a local tourist hotspot for walking, with the added bonus of some truly stunning countryside views.
WARRINGTON MUSEUM & ART GALLERY

Dive into history.
One of the oldest museums in the country, Warrington Museum and Art Gallery houses thousands of fascinating exhibits, including a real Egyptian mummy and a dinosaur skeleton. They also rotate temporary exhibits and hold hands-on craft sessions so you can try your own hand at creating art.
