If you’re looking for things to do in Warrington during spring, why not spend the day, or weekend, at Warrington’s Neighbourhood Weekender festival? With a wide variety of artists like Anne-Marie, The Kooks, and Scouting for Girls, you’ll find something to love at one of their three stages.
Walton Hall and Gardens (12 minute drive)
Explore the beautiful grounds of Walton Hall.
Not only can you take in the stunning atmosphere of the grounds, there are also several activities to take part in. Try your hand at crazy golf or take this opportunity to take an alpaca for a walk.
Coder Dojo (20 minute drive)
The North's biggest FREE STEM event for kids.
Mix education with fun as you get hands-on and learn all about coding, tech and STEM at Beamont Collegiate Academy. Your kids will have the chance to create a LEGO stop animation, learn how to fly a drone, work their way out of a maze with Sphero Robots and more!
Go Ape (40 minute drive)
Go wild.
Navigate the treetops in Delamere Forest with Go Ape. Not for the faint-hearted, do you have what it takes to get from one side of the course to the other? Once you get the hang of it, there’s even challenges you can take on. Head out to Go Ape if you want to experience one of the best days out in Warrington.
Walton Hall Ghost Walk (40 minute drive)
Brave the spirits.
There’s nothing better to get into the spirit of Halloween than going on a ghost walk. If you’re looking for something scary to add to your list of things to do in Warrington, check out the Walton Hall Ghost Walk – go hands on and search for ghosts in one of the UK’s most haunted buildings.
Twenty Acre Wood (10 minute drive)
Go leaf peeping.
There’s nothing more beautiful than when the leaves change colour in the autumn. Take a walk through the Twenty Acre Wood to see silver birches and chestnut trees show off their beautiful red and orange hues as autumn starts setting in.
